Cancellation & Refund Policy — Vegan Tours Portugal

1. General Policy

 

  • At Vegan Tours Portugal, we strive to provide high-quality vegan travel experiences in Portugal. All bookings require full payment at the time of reservation.

  • To ensure transparency and fairness, we have established the following cancellation and refund rules, which apply to all bookings unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • By completing a booking, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

 

2. Non-Refundable Deposit

 

  • A €500 portion of the total booking fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.

  • This amount covers administrative costs, tour preparation, and guarantees your spot on the selected tour.

 

3. Refund Timeline

 

  • Refunds for cancellations are calculated according to the time remaining before the scheduled tour start date:

 

Time Before Tour             Refund of Remaining Amount*

More than 30 days             100% of the remaining amount after €500 deposit

14–30 days                         50% of the remaining amount after €500 deposit

Less than 14 days               0% (no refund)

 

*The €500 non-refundable deposit is not included in any refund calculation.

 

4. How to Cancel

 

  • To cancel a booking, please contact us in writing at: info@vegantours.pt

  • The date of cancellation is considered the date we receive your written notice.

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 14 business days using the original payment method.

 

5. Exceptional Circumstances

 

  • In case of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, government travel restrictions, or public health emergencies), we will make reasonable efforts to:

  • Offer an alternative tour date, or

  • Provide a partial or full refund, depending on costs incurred.

  • These situations are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

 

6. International Clients

 

This policy applies to clients from all countries.

 

  • EU consumer rights are respected for clients residing in the European Union.

  • Clients from outside the EU are subject to the terms agreed at booking, as described above.
